How tips work

Guests can tip you through your event flow. Each tip records an amount, optional message, and (when provided) a display name for tip-only payments. Tips may be linked to a specific event page or to a song request, depending on how the guest checked out.

Stripe

Card processing is handled with Stripe. You’ll connect your Stripe account where the product prompts you (for example from payout or settings flows in the app). Until you’re fully connected, you may not be able to accept paid tips.

What you should verify

• Business and banking details in Stripe match how you operate.
• You’re using a live vs. test environment consistent with your gig (your team’s deployment controls this).
• You comply with local laws and platform rules for accepting tips as income.
